This week, we meet Jacob, son of Isaac, as he is traveling back to Haran to find a wife. On his way, he meets The LORD for the first time. His reaction is to be moved with awe. Listen as we are reminded that we are brought into the awe inspiring presence of the Lord, through Christ's salvation.
This week Fr. Ian talked about Jacob experiencing the awesomeness of the God appearing to him. One analogy used was that of storm waves crashing on the sea shore. What experiences have you had that caused you to be filled with awe?
How can you cultivate more awe of God and his holiness in your life?
What acts to help you remember all that God has done and is doing your life?
