Psalm 39 is a protest about the consternation David is receiving from God for his sin. We can enter into dark times like what David faced, whether it be because our sin has overcome us or because of life's twists and turns. However, we were reminded of God's care through Christ, that He has given us an incredible hope no matter what we face.
How does Christ's presence in your life change struggling and trials?
What is preventing you from surrendering everything to Christ?
How does the hope we have in Christ allow you to have joy in travail?
