This morning Fr. Ian talked about Jacob's wrestling with God. He reminded us of our need to depend completely upon God, that sometimes our weakness are brought about so that we might remember that God is the one in control.
Reflection questions:
Do you have any "rooms" in your heart that you have closed off and forgotten about that are preventing you from trusting God in your life completely?
Are there areas of weakness in your life that you know that God is working through?
The biggest blessing Jacob received was seeing God face to face. Our promise as Christians is that one day we will see God face to face as well. How will this encourage you this week?
